Shrek The Musical Mesa Theatre reviews
Not good at all
I was so disappointed in this show at the St George Theater in Staten Island. The set was the same the whole show, one single backdrop, it didn't change at all. The songs were not that good and the voices were not strong at all (my favorite though was Pinocchio). None of the songs from the original Shrek were used. The kids had no idea what was going on. There was nothing to hold their attention. It reminded me of a high school play. Also, the audience was so loud. Kids running back and forth. The theater did nothing to try to control them. We could hardly hear and we had good seats. The microphones had issues and were too low and sometimes didn't even work. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
